My journey to now…
Well hey there! Let me introduce myself—I’m April Bordeaux, and here’s my journey. It’s filled with wonder, creativity, purpose—and a dash of “why the hell not?
Creativity has always been my thing. As a child, I escaped into books about faraway places, perfected the art of “baking” the perfect mud pie and even spent hours with my dog, Pixie, in my backyard fire tower (yes, it had a pole to slide down). But as college approached, I took the more practical route and earned a degree in business and finance. I dove into the corporate world, eager to apply my strategic mind and soak up valuable experience in both business and marketing. It was during this time that I realized my true passion—art and design—was calling.
Pursuit of Passion
Then, life threw a curveball during the economic downturn, and I realized I had to chase my true passion—art and design. So, back to school I went, unleashed my creative side, and never looked back. Armed with dual degrees and over two decades of experience, I’ve fused creative flair, strategic thinking, and business acumen to become the design extraordinaire I am today.
Transition to Solopreneurship
After 11 years in the agency world, I took the leap into the unknown. And here I am, embracing my quirky nerd side like a boss. Sure, it’s a little scary, but I’m beyond thrilled to be doing what I love. Helping small business owners bring their dreams to life? That’s not just my job; it’s my passion. Who wouldn’t want to sprinkle a little design magic and watch dreams soar?

Oh, and did I mention I’m a huge animal lover? My house is filled with floofy friends who hustle alongside me every day. I’ve got deep roots in my community—my daughter’s a fourth-generation Floridian, born right here in SW Florida. I’m all about forging lasting connections and giving back, locally and globally.

Meet Shiloh, the self-proclaimed Chief Feline Officer (CFO)—a title she took as seriously as a catnip addiction. Shiloh was the undisputed queen of micromanaging, a true purr-fessional, and the master of the disapproving tail flick. She lived a life as fabulous as her fluffy demeanor, bringing sass, charm, and endless love to our lives.
Shiloh was dearly loved and will be furever missed. Rest easy, our queen of cattitude.

Sam is my right-hand doggo. He’s constantly by my side showcasing his barketing brilliance whenever he can. There’s no promotion he won’t fetch and no client he won’t charm with a tail wag and a pawshake. Sam’s not just my barketing manager; he’s the paw-some force behind every wag-worthy deal.
Don’t let the smile fool you; when it’s guard duty time, Jaxx transforms into a fur-clad sentinel. That chin on my desk and giving me the side-eye like a bouncer checking the guest list isn’t just for show; it’s his way of making sure everything is ship-shape. Jaxx, the pack-hoarding maestro, keeping us all in check and safe, one paw at a time.
